Clowns at the Carousel began in 2003 when L.A.F.S. For Life, Korn Patch Klowns and Des Moines Parks & Recreation teamed up in recognition of International Clown Week and National Night Out.

Each year thousands of children and adults have enjoyed family fun activities.  All activities are FREE and open to the public thanks to our generous sponsors.

Throughout the evenings, there have been balloons, carousel rides, face painting, food, inflatable rides, mounted police, strolling entertainment and educational information for everyone.

We invite you to join us for a night of laughter and entertainment at one of the great parks in Des Moines, Iowa and help us kick off international clown week!
